Beginner’s Guide to Synthesizing Noisy Interferometer Data

چکیده
TA(ν) has little to do with the radiation temperature of the source, which is not restricted to have a thermal spectrum. It is more accurately a noise temperature. If one were to place a telescope or feed and detector with small bandwidth ∆ν above the atmosphere and measure power Pν , one could replace that whole system with a resistor at temperature TA(ν), and measure the same power. Similarly, the brightness temperature Tatm of the atmosphere at the observing frequency ν is not necessarily the actual kinetic temperature of the atmosphere TK,atm.

This is a write-up of lectures on basicN = 1 supergravity in four dimensions given during a one-semester course at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena. Aimed at graduate students with some previous exposure to general relativity and rigid supersymmetry, we provide a self-contained derivation of the off-shell supergravity multiplet and the most general couplings of chiral multiplets to the la...

In this paper a novel optical pressure and acceleration sensor based on micro electro mechanical systems (MEOMS) has been designed. For this purpose an integrated Mach- Zander interferometer has been used in LiNbO3 diaphragm. In this sensor, the strain caused by applied pressure or acceleration leads to a change in refractive index of the wave guide in the diaphragm due to the photoelastic effe...
